DGC-1000A
Product Overview
Clamp Meter for earth loop measurement
User-friendly and accurate, the DGC-1000A helps you work safetly without test leads or auxiliary electrodes. The on-board memory and data logging features improve efficiency.
In the case of earthing systems with earths connected to each other that create a closed loop (e.g. the lightning protection system on a house), the earth resistance of every earth loop can be quickly and safely determined by means of a clamp meter for earth loop measurement (DGC-1000A). The DGC-1000A clamp meter is a clamp with two current clamps in practical terms, which are installed within a housing. This clamp combines the two current clamps needed to perform the stakeless ground loop test in one compact and easy to use instrument. A measurement current is induced in the earth loop with a current clamp, whilst the current running through the earth is measured with a second clamp in order to derive the resistance of the earth loop for the relevant earth.
